Int’l Tug Boat Race

Each year, during the summer, the International Tug Boat Race takes place down the Detroit River. Residents of Detroit and Windsor gather to watch the tugboats speed down the waterway at a break-neck pace.

Inspired by the child-like wonder inherently inside of all of us when racing homemade boats down a river—bright colors, construction paper, and an element of playfulness were used to make this series.
